Just over a week ago we had the pleasure to be working with Katie and Liam for their wedding day in Sutton Coldfield. While the editing has been moving along steadily with their shots (come back next week to see some of their shots!) we had last weekend free from wedding photography and took the opportunity to do our second engagement shoot of the week with Shelley and Lewis. This was a great opportunity to meet with them, get to know them a little and see them at the very same location where they’ll be spending their big day. We met at the Frogmill Inn, which we’ve not shot at for quite a long time now but immediately aimed to make full use of the fantastic Cotswold stone textures and colours available at this lovely venue. It made for a great backdrop for a collection of couple shots and one or two of them each individually. Similarly to Verity and Chris’ engagement shoot previously, we were a little tied for time with such a cold wind about but we made full use of each minute and worked with the soft lighting from the overcast sky to create our images of the couple.
We’ll be back with Shelley and Lewis in May for their wedding so watch this space for Part 2! Later this week we’re off to Bristol for Verity and Chris’ wedding and we’ve got a few more engagement shoots lined up before our next wedding at the Royal George in Birdlip and the Photography Show at the NEC later this month. March is looking like it’s going to be a lot of fun at the moment!
