We’re looking at a wedding from last Summer today with our bride and groom, Madison and Rodney. This wedding was split across a couple of locations starting with two separate hotels for bridal prep and groomsmen prep before moving on to Burford Church for the ceremony and Oxleaze Barn for the reception. We’ll be heading back to Oxleaze some more wedding photography this Summer, and I’m really looking forward to it as it was the perfect venue for a Summer wedding reception. There’s a little area at the back of the barn for guests to mingle, which was great for the reportage shots in the afternoon. Madison and Rod had a bar set up next to a covered dance floor and a huge paella being prepared when we arrived after the ceremony. We photographed some group shots before the guests all sat down for their wedding breakfast and shortly afterwards took Madison and Rod out to a secluded garden area for some couple shots. The weather was beautiful for the whole day and it was 20:00 before we even started the couple shots…Summer makes being a wedding photographer so much easier!
As always, check out a few selected shots below…it can be difficult narrowing down so many photographs to just 20 or so, but I think these give a nice flavour of the day.
