It’s been a little while since my last blog post and even longer since my last ‘Diary of a Wedding Photographer’ update, but every year wedding season kicks off and I find myself taking/editing thousands of images with little time to keep up to date on my blog. I wouldn’t have it any other way though, and this Summer has been wonderful so far.
The last few weeks have seen a plethora of fantastic venues (most of which are due to feature on a ‘Venue Visit’ soon, so keep an eye out for that!) whilst having the opportunity to work with some great couples. June started with a wedding over at Bailbrook House in Bath and more recently I’ve had the great pleasure of capturing weddings at Priors Tithe Barn in Brockworth, Oxleaze Barn in Bibury, Cripps Stone Barn in the Cotswolds and Bordesley Park up in Redditch. When I’ve not been out capturing weddings I’ve also been shooting a handful of couple sessions in a mix of locations. The life of a wedding photographer isn’t all gallivanting off to exciting venues however, as the rest of the 9-5 working week tends to be editing at the PC and with so many happy couples tying the knot I’ve had my plate quite full with slideshows to create, albums to design and pictures to finalise. The website (aside from the blog) has been kept fairly up to date with the odd new picture on my portfolio, so if you haven’t looked at it for a while dive in and see what’s new!
Ellenborough Park in Cheltenham is next on the list and I’m very excited to be back there to document the celebrations.
