It seems that over the last few weeks it’s been really hard to get a chance to update the blog, but here I am! You see, August-October for some reason seem to be pretty much my peak months. I think most people would expect it to be June/July, and don’t get me wrong they’re pretty busy too! But August is king for weddings before they very slowly drop off as the months get colder. Yet here we are, about to get stuck into November with 3 weddings in what is normally one of the quietest months of the year! So what’s been going on? Well, aside from visiting Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham on several occasions, Hyde Barn in Stow on the Wold, Ellenborough Park, George Washington’s ancestors home (seriously! It was great fun!) … just the usual! We’ve got an entry in the Wedding Industry Awards also, so that’s exciting. Added to all of that, I’m off to shoot at Dumbleton Hall in Evesham on Saturday, and Pittville Pump Room + Queens Hotel (Cheltenham) + a 50’s diner on Friday! I’ve also had the opportunity to shoot some fun reportage family photographs recently, so I’m looking forward to starting a little section on tips for capturing those special family moments with more of a photographic eye.
Lot’s of exciting wedding posts to come in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
….and of course, Happy Halloween!
